God's Wealth Plan Study

Through God's Wealth Plan, we have a multitude of blessings which can and should be incorporated into our lives by faith through Jesus Christ.

We may not see evidence of that fact in many of our churches, but that does not mean they do not exist or that it is wrong to experience them. All of God's blessings are a part of the Kingdom living experience found in Matthew 6:25-34 that tells us God will provide all that we need or want as we center upon Him. This means that if you are a Christian they belong to YOU!

Center Upon God In All Things

The Kingdom Living Experience

Hosea 4:6 (KJV) "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge..."

The reasons why Christians don't experience the blessings given to us in the Bible range from a lack of knowledge of God's Word, the Bible, to self-condemnation or a disbelief that God's Word is true.

It is very common for Christians to believe that it's wrong to expect anything from God--especially financial and material wealth because they are looking at the Word from a human point of view rather than a Biblical understanding of the scriptures.

2 Timothy 2:15 (Am. KJV) "Study to show yourself approved to God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."

Christians have confusion about God because they don't study the scriptures. Therefore, they don't know who they are in Christ and what they have in Him. Faith can't grow without seeing ourselves as God sees us, so we must look at our lives from a Biblical perspective.

The Bible clearly tells us that Jesus took our sins for us when He died on the cross. As a result, when we receive salvation, we also receive forgiveness of our sins because of what Jesus did for us. This also means that we can receive all of God's blessings through Jesus Christ on His merit and not our own.

So it is very simple to receive from God, but very complicated when we bring our personal identities into receiving anything from God rather than identifying with Christ.

Part of our confusion can come from our backgrounds, the friends and family we are with and the world's system which gives us conflicting messages about money, who we are and what we can do in life.   

Most of us have preconceived ideas of who we are since we were very young.  But through our salvation, we became "REBORN" Or "NEW CREATURES IN CHRIST" with a fresh start and a new identity of Jesus Christ to do all things, have all things, and to live the dreams that God put into our hearts.

Avoid Worldly Confusions

While we receive from God by faith, it will do us little good to believe God for money or anything we need if we are not able to focus upon God's Word only.  I see Christians confusing what God says in the Bible with what famous authors and well-known personalities say about becoming wealthy or getting what we want.

Many of the current beliefs about attracting financial wealth suggests more of a reliance upon the mind only rather that the workings of the Holy Spirit and the power of Jesus Christ to sustain us through our financial growth period with the faith that God will meet all of our needs. It is through Christ that we can do all things, not by just believing that if we have good thoughts, gratitude and kind actions we will easily attract what we want.  If this were true, we should all be prosperous. 

Christians should be grateful and obedient to God's Word, but everything we do must all be through the work of Jesus Christ on the cross so that we can be assured that what we want, we have unconditionally. This is a great faith builder for financial growth because it reflects the simplistic nature of God's Word which will come alive in us as we base it upon our rights in Christ rather than false beliefs that we have to earn what we want from God.

So as you learn about God's principles for financial growth through God's Wealth Plan, you can believe with assurance that they will work on your behalf because financial growth is a blessing that belongs to you and you are good enough to receive it through Jesus Christ.

Once you realize who you are in Christ, you are ready to take God's wealth plan by faith and receive your financial blessings. This is because when you are in a state of looking to God rather than to yourself for your needs and wants, your heart will be centered upon God first as we're told to do in Matthew 6:25-34. 

Matthew 6:25-34 tells us that God has already blessed us. But we must put Him first in our lives, looking to Him as our provider. This is why trusting Him for what we need and want actually brings us closer to Him in the process. So as we learn to receive money God's way, it will not taint us, but instead make us cheerful givers and good stewards with our money. This means that we will not only respect the money that God has entrusted to us, but we will make it prosper for ourselves and to give to God.

Obtaining financial wealth through Biblical principles will not make you a bad person as many people believe, instead it will make you a better person in Christ.

Money is only a bad thing when we become desirous of wealth for the sole purpose of having money and power to overtake others or to show others that we are better than they are. With God leading you through His wealth plan this will not happen because He will make you confident and secure in yourself while respectful of others through Biblical ethics. Also, you will not have to be fearful of losing your wealth because God will continue to bless you as you exercise His principles.

Operating in God's Wealth Plan

Now that you know that it's God's will for you to have money and that you deserve it through Jesus Christ, it's time to begin the process of receiving the money you desire by using the principles that make up what I call God's Wealth Plan.  Go here for a free Bible Study Notebook that can help your study.

What Is God's Wealth Plan?

It is a means of mixing the principles of Kingdom Living found in Matthew 6:25-34 with God's specific financial principles to receive His financial and material blessings. It is activated into our lives through our faith and the prayer of faith (also prayer of petition) from Mark 11:23-26 or by simply making a faith statement in a specific way according to Mark 11:23.  You can also use the prayer of agreement.

Mark 11:23 (NKJV) "For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, "Be removed and be cast into the sea," and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says."

What is Kingdom Living?

Kingdom Living is trusting God as our provider to supply all of our needs and wants through His Word.  We believe that He is taking care of us every day and blessing us with good health, healing and safety and protection just as He said he does with the flower and birds in the air.  We are even more important to Him so we can expect great blessings.

Matthew 6:34 "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own."

God wants us to live for today, rather than worrying about tomorrow or feeling bad about the past. The present is all we have.

What Activates Kingdom Living In Our Lives?

I will give a short review of this lesson with the steps for activating God's wealth plan in your life.

• Believe that you are worthy in Christ
• Believe that God's Word is true
• Believe that God's Word is true for you
• Trust God by faith that He has already blessed you
• Center on God first for the money that you desire
• Ask God for what you want in "prayer" or by "faith statement"
• Believe by faith that you have received
• Desire your money first for God

Once you begin implementing God's Wealth Plan expect to receive the money you ask God for through your job, business, ministry and opportunities that God will make available to you by your faith. Even if you are unemployed, you will learn how to make what you do have grow. 

The Spiritual Purpose Of God's Wealth Plan

We should take God's blessings to enjoy our lives because God created them for us.  We are His children and He desires to take good care of us, just as we desire to take care of our children. This is our testimony to the world that we have a loving God who abundantly and infinitely provides for our needs and wants. This is Kingdom living!

We have rest and we have peace while we trust that God will always provide for us. Kingdom living provides us with more time to center upon what is most important in our walk with God--to be a great testimony for the lost and to win them to Christ.  Spreading the Gospel is the most important work we can do.

Conclusion

If you're in debt right now or you need a plan to increase your money, God's Wealth Plan can and should be your source of help. It was my source for getting out of debt in the late seventies when the economy was bad and my husband had lost his job.  However I still utilize it. Whenever I have let myself get too busy to be faithful to God's principles for financial wealth, I have suffered the consequences, so I now make sure to use them daily.

I urge you to get involved with God now. Without a firm foundation of Biblical truth to guide you, it will be difficult to rest with confidence when life appears too difficult to handle.
