Marketplace Ministry and Church Leadership

What is Marketplace Ministry and how will it impact your life, your work and your relationship with God?

If you weren't called to a ministry within the church, you're going to learn that God has a special ministry for you outside the church which connects your career or business, your life's purpose and your desire to serve God into one package.  It holds the passion of your life and the greatest fulfillment.

 

Revelation 1:6:  And has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen

You Were Made By God's Design To Serve Him In A Special and Unique Way Within The Church or Within A Marketplace Ministry 

The crux of this study is to help guide you in the work that God has called you to do.  Not knowing can be a nagging and perplexing state of mind that has caused many Christians to have doubts about their purpose for living while working a job they hate or feel trapped doing.    

To know what God has already equipped us to do is to walk in the ultimate of Kingdom living.  It also gives a better understanding of the need God has for His children to prosper financially.  It also helps them understand that it's not wrong for Christians to pray for and have money.   

Most Christians haven't been taught how to communicate with God specifically for destiny discovery and development, leaving them wondering and waiting most of their lives with an unfulfilled promise or empty dreams that never get realized. 

Part of our salvation is to know what direction or course in life to take in order to enjoy what we do as well as to serve God at our best. When this happens, all other things fall into place.  So as you learn how to  seek after God's guidance and receive it, you will automatically be walking the path to your destiny, realizing over time great financial increase, first for the sake of the Gospel. 

Christians can move forward with God's plans to serve Him no matter what their problems or circumstances.  It's really not difficult, they only need to know how to get God involved in their lives.  

The easy way to do that is to get in line with God's purposes, plans and pursuits.  However, many Christians are afraid to let go and let God take over, but as you continue reading, you'll learn the great benefits of allowing God's will to supersede your own.        

If you're ready to follow Jesus, then you're ready to walk down a path that is twofold.  It is a path for you alone, yet it connects to all paths that lead to God's Kingdom.  It is conjoined with all other Christians following God's will, collectively known as the Body of Christ.

You will find your path where your heart, not your head leads you, yet it is your head that will envision the purposes, plans and pursuits that God has given you to accomplish through your ministry, job, career or business. 

So before we continue, it's important that you learn the two types of ministries ordained by God.  

We are all called to be ministers.  One type of ministry is that of a "Priest" and the other a "King."  When you understand the difference between the two the next step is to know which one of these two ministries  you were called to serve or lead. 

For clarification there is the church ministry and what many call the marketplace ministry where Christians serve God outside the church. I've given you more explanation below to reflect Revelation 1:6.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A PRIEST AND A KING?

The Christian Priest (pastor, minister, teacher, etc.)

Most people have no problem identifying what a pastor, minister or priest's function is in the church.  They are the spiritual leaders of our local churches and we look to them for our spiritual needs and to perform church functions such as baptism, communion, weddings, funerals etc.

The Christian King In The Marketplace Ministry

If you were not called by God to be a "priest" then God has called you to be a "king" in a marketplace ministry.

Your marketplace ministry can begin with the work, career or business you are fulfilling this moment. All you need to do is take the first step with God and whatever it is that you're doing will make a 180 degree turn around for success and financial increase, not to mention the impact for Christ on your community. As you continue to follow God, you will be led to greater success and perhaps other areas of business.  This is because God's "Kings are to supply the "Priests" or local churches with great financial fruits.
